Carbon Challenge Groups

Are you trying to reduce your carbon footprint? Would you like to discuss ideas with other people trying to do the same? Cambridge Carbon Footprint is offering people living in and around Cambridge the opportunity to join a Carbon Challenge Group. 5 meetings exploring

  • How climate change will affect us
  • How we can affect climate change
A group in our home Carbon Challenge groups are small groups who meet 5 times, fortnightly or monthly, and talk about how to tackle climate change in their personal lives. They are led by facilitators who have already completed a group themselves.
Each meeting has a theme:
  1. What is climate change and how is it likely to affect us?
  2. Energy in the home
  3. Travel and transport
  4. Food and water
  5. Waste and consumption
The groups are led by experienced facilitators and by the end of the series you should have a clear picture of what climate change is, how it relates to your carbon footprint and what you can do about both.

There is a small charge of £7.50 to cover the costs of materials.
